I have been painting...mainly candlesticks but I have also had a rotating circular tray that I bought at a boot fair many years ago for just £2 and I've never got around to drilling a central hole to put on my garden table for the umbrella to go through. However, I decided to paint it black...I feel a song coming on here!! LOL. The Rolling Stones should be singing in the background.
This is the tray with individual glass sections for nibbles etc.

The tray without the dishes.
The tray and stand now painted.

With the dishes replaced.

It can be used with or without the glass sections. Here, I buffed up some shiny red apples for a wicked witch's temptation.

My sister in law bought us a silver candleabra for our silver wedding anniversary back in errrm....well, 16 years ago! Apart from the Millenium New Year, it's never seen daylight! That too has been painted black! At least it will come out once each year. I also have 2 grey ceramic candlesticks which I've had for umpteen years and never used since I changed the lounge decor 7 years ago. So I feel I have transformed what would otherwise be redundant 'junk' to objects of desire!
The shadow gives a spooky effect.

I am enjoying my preparations for Halloween - even if I'm not now planning for my party - it will be less work for next year!
