How tweet!

I've used one of the Webster's Pages papers that I bought from Ally Pally a few weeks ago. I really don't like my handwriting (isn't that a common saying?)....and so I believe that I have spoiled what I really wanted to achieve. I tried using a white pen at first but it seemed to get lost on the paper with the white script. In the end I used a green pencil but not happy with that! Then I used a letter stamp and as it wasn't a clear one, it stamped 'wonky'! Tsk. So I'm not happy with the overall result but I do LOVE the paper and the photos....just not my handwriting. Let me know your honest opinion. I think I will buy another sheet and re-do it tbh.
The blackbird came soo close whilst I was digging on my allotment and I got some closeup shots of it. Then I enlarged one of the pics and cut out the silhouette.

Thanks so much for looking.

Always havin' a larf!

I posted about my best friend's birthdays 2 posts down and I did say that I would post more photos of our KWA days (Kent Wives Association).

We get together every couple of months for a fun day and sometimes we have a theme and sometimes a colour scheme. We are always havin' a larf!

So, if you want to escape for a while, come and join us for a day as cowgirls! Rita was hostess on this occasion. So grab your hat and settle down for a fun time - lunch included!!

Howdy pardners!

This is Joan on the left...moi and then Pam

Rita is on the left.

Joan 'hits' the bottle....of Ame! Who needs alcohol to have a larf?!

Yeehaaaa!

Time for lunch....and what do all cowboys - and girls have?

Clean plates.

Adios amigos!

I hope you enjoyed the show. Visit us again soon with more antics and fun. Some other themes are 60s, 50s - Grease, Valentine, Easter bunnies and a beach theme - complete with sand in my garden!
Gotta dash....I've got a date with a chocolate bar!

Boot fair treasures!

I LOVE boot fairs and charity shops. I never know what I am going to find or buy. I went to one on Saturday - the first boot fair on a Saturday in a while here as they are usually on Sundays. Take this ceramic bodice - or whatever it is called. I LOVE it. It cost just £2 along with 4 lace doilies.

I bought this scrapbook - 12x12 for just £1! A bargain. Nothing else scrapbook related - just this.
These beaded coasters were £1 too.
These were just 10p each.

Believe it or not, this is a lamp! I LOVE it.

I also bought a brand new blender with a 'You Are What You Eat' book for just £3....and a brand new 5 arm chandelier still in the box for £3 - cream with gold paint dry brushed on it.
There was a beautiful pastel pink Planet suit for £30. That sounds expensive but it was worn once and cost £325 new. My sister is going to buy it for my birthday in September. I'm not excited about my birthday this year! It's the only decade that I am not looking forward to advancing to!! Eeek.
All for now.....stay your way.

Flower Power!

I hope the sun is shining in your corner of the world today. Hasn't it been glorious? It seems that everywhere I look, there is colour coming to life. I took some photos on Friday that I want to share with you. So grab a cuppa, have a seat and soak up the sun before you go about your daily business. Enjoy.

Have a Super Sabbath and thank you for visiting my blog.
