Halloween idea # 4

It's time to be thinking about what design you are going to be carving into your pumpkin. So this post is dedicated to all things pumpkins.

It doesn't matter what size pumpkin you choose, there is a use for it, be it carved into a face/silhouette or maybe used for an ice bucket for those party drinks. Below, I have chosen a variety of ideas - some I have gotten from http://www.marthastewart.com/ and some from on line. The following are what I did myself.

I made a layout of each step by step carving of my spider pumpkin.
I made a flower arrangement in this little pumpkin.

I liked this one of Mickey Mouse.

This is clever...the whole family's faces carved into each pumpkin.

These are from the Martha Stewart site.

Spooky!
Here is where you can get some patterns to help you.
If you're not brave enough to carve a pumpkin, maybe you could use one for an ice bucket, as seen here on MS site.

Whatever you choose to do with yours....make sure you don't eat too much pumpkin.....

This is what happens if you do.....
