These ideas were from 'Michael's' in USA a few years ago. They are so cute and would be very easy to make. The basic cup cake recipe could be used (see below) or buy ready made cup cakes/fairy cakes and then decorate them. I bought Halloween (spider web) cup cake/muffin cases in Matalan for £2.00 this year.

Basic cup cake recipe: Makes 24
Prep: 20 minutes. Cook: 20 minutes.
200gm Soft butter
200gm Caster sugar
4 medium eggs
200gm Self raising flour.
Flavourings optional.
Preheat oven to 180c, fan 160c or gas 4.
Put the butter and sugar into a mixing bowl and cream together until light and fluffy, by hand or using a beater.
Add one egg at a time and mix until all eggs used.
Stir in flour - a little at a time and mix well.
Divide mixture into cases and bake for 18-20 minutes.
Decorate with frosting or pipe coloured icing.
Our Halloween party a few years ago, gave the grandchildren - and adults a reason to dress up and have some fun. Here is one of my favourite photos of 2 of my grandsons both dressed as Dracula.
I used this photo to make a layout and I submitted it to a UK scrapbook magazine - Scrapbook Inspirations. It was featured in the October issue 2007.
Have fun with your Halloween preparations.
