Halloween idea # 5

There are so many costumes and characters to choose from when deciding who you want to be dressed up as for Halloween, so I shall help you with a few ideas.

Will it be a jester, Cinderella (princess), an Egyptian or maybe Elvis?

There are lots of costumes to choose from. Here are online sites that have huge ranges.
Don't forget to look in all of the big supermarkets....Tesco have a huge selection, as do Asda, Sainsburys and Matalan.

One Halloween - a few years ago, one of my grandsons went to his school Halloween disco, wrapped as a 'mummy'. It took me and his mum the best part of half an hour to wrap him from head to toe! He was so intent on winning the best dressed boy that year that it was crucial, his bandages didn't unravel throughout the evening.

A word of warning when you wrap your 'specimen'. Do leave access for them to go to the toilet easily! LOL.

Bless him....he has so much faith - and determination...he did win the best dressed boy at his school disco. Here he is with his winning 'Trick Or Treat' goodie bag as his prize.
I made the following double page layout for my 'sound' album. I recorded one of my creaking doors with the 20 second sound button recording and now it gives more interest when viewing the pages. I made each letter by cutting cardstock and wrapped them with inked gauze bandages.

The coffin took me a while to calculate the space for the journalling inside. I used a dingbat font which has several Egyptian icons and enlarged it to fit onto the coffin shape. When the coffin lid is opened, I play the creaking door. Creepy but effective.

Let me know who you decide to dress up as. I will be interested to see your creations.
Coming up for future ideas will be makeup for your costumes, drinks, Halloween party invitations/cards and food for your party - including these chocolate candles that I am going to attempt to make.

See you all very soon.

How on earth did you get sound effects on your page? What a brilliant idea and very fitting for that fantastic costume :P I love that the journalling is coffin or should I say body shaped too :D

Oh I've seen those candles on a programme recently... I forget now which one but wasn't there edible cutlery as well? They look absolutely delicious.
