...Am I really THAT old?!

Where has the time gone?! It was my granddaughter's 18th birthday on Saturday and we all went to Thorpe Park to celebrate at the weekend - all that is ...14 of my family! The weather was fab and a great time was had by everyone...
...right down to this Little Miss.

I have considered myself a 'Coaster Queen' over the years, however, I have watched roller coasters grow in height, speed and fear factor, to the point I am resigning and handing my title over to my almost 10 year old granddaughter Eden! She is beyond brave!
She wins hands down! There's no way I would have gone on 'SAW' THE RIDE ...

...and even after queuing for nearly 2 hours AND there were technical problems on 2 occasions, she was still brave enough to ride it. Phew! Just looking at it made me come over dizzy! My age has at last caught up with me...where roller coaster rides are concerned anyway.

So....is anyone of you ready for a vertual ride?

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?!

Apparently, the worse part is at this point where the carriage has gone through the tunnel (no giving away the journey preceding this far in case any of you wishes to ride SAW) - and is awaiting the steep climb of 100ft and a 100degree drop! There is about a 10 second wait! I believe this would be where I would PMK!

*SCREEEEEEAAAAM*
*ARRRRRRHHHH*

*WHOOOOSH*

Around the loop and the end is near!

So, what is the verdict?!

First off ....son in law # 1. He looks smug! Turn around. Let's take a look at your pants!!
Huh! His hands are still shaking.

Next off....daughter Keeley - clearly feeling the after effects.
WOW! Son in law # 2. Now he's a big guy - 6' 4" but even he looks like it was no joy ride!

Eden - the coolest but still wiping the sweat from her brow.

SAW it.
FEARED it.
DONE it!

A little trick photography!
Last word from Eden - "It's class!"

So, my one and only ride seems feeble after that but hey, I swung 10 loops in one go and got the same feeling - yuk!
Queuing for the 'Colossus' - 3 daughters, 1 son in law and 2 grandchildren.Ethan was chuffed that he just made the grade with his spiky hair touching the top of the measuring stick!

Still smiling.

Cool 8 year old Ethan with his hand hanging!

How many loops was that?!

A hair raising experience!
Me at the back.
Nuff said!
Good times.

Gadget/Widget Whatever!!

Yayyy...I am so happy. I've been wanting to add a gadget/widget on my blog for a while now - a counter to see how many of you lovely peeps visit my blog.

Not understanding the gadget/widget thing and after wrestling with different words, htmls and urls - none of which I have an understanding of either, I caved and submitted defeat, calling on the higher powers of my scrapbooking colleagues for their wisdom and knowledge.
It was Julia who Dunnit for me! We spoke on the phone and she talked me through it.
I am now the proud owner of a blog counter. All chuffed am I.

Thanks so much Julia. I love to learn new things - especially about my pc.

*Skips and sidekicks my heels in the air*.
Off to play some more.
Toots for now,

If You Go Down To The Woods Today...

You may get a big surprise...

There is something *magical* about Bluebell woods... something *enchanting*, so come take a walk with me.

You might just see a Bluebell fairy! Or even a unicorn fairy...but first we will need to sprinkle some *fairy dust*...

... deep, deep in the forest of *Fairyland* was a beautiful Bluebell glade...

On Golden Pond!

Are you keeping up?

There's lots more to see.

Ahh...the Bluebell fairy?...

What can I see? ...the unicorn fairy...

Me and my little 'protector' Cameron.

What's this? A little elf scurrying through the Bluebells?!

We're nearing the end of our walk and it's been lovely to have your company.

Back To The Future...

I hope you enjoyed your walk with me amongst the Bluebells.
