WOYWW - Snoop and a rummage!

Firstly, I want to give a HUGE thank you to all of you who took the time and made the effort to visit my first WOYWW post last week. Thank you for all of your lovely comments and I managed to visit almost all of you but not quite. Phew!

What I did notice, is that you all like a good ol' snoop and a rummage. So, rather than show you my -still messy desk from last week, I thought you might like to have a nosey in one of my plastic containers that I keep my embellishments. I like to see what I have and at the same time, keep it free from all that dust! Know what I mean?

So, this is my miscellaneous metal box.

Still unopened...but I'm still waiting for that special project to use them on!! LOL.

My sister bought me these from a boot fair....for pennies!

I love these little metal letters on a ribbon.

Some really old stuff here. The little bracelet is from Primark and has lots of little charms - for £1.50! If it came from a scrapbook store, it would cost 3 times as much. The metal B is from an old Barbie bag. I'm waiting for a 'B' to join the family!! LOL.

I hope you have all enjoyed your rummage, now help yourself to as many chocolates as you like...just don't blame me for you messing up your work!

Have a good Wednesday and now hop over to Julia's blog for a snoop at everyone else's desk. (Thanks for the tutorial Julia)!

Toots for now and thank you so much for your visit.

PS. I don't know how to get my photos to enlarge. I would appreciate it if someone might be able to enlighten me please.
If you get a 'spare' 5 minutes, you might want to check out my previous post where I - and 3 of my bestest friends in the whole wide world get together every few weeks for a day of fun and laughter. It's back to the 50's on this occasion.

OK, the link thingy - type into your blog what you want to say..probably in this case...
Julia's blog Stamping Ground.
RIGHT click and highlight this. Then click on the green world with a chain link image in the tool bar. This pops open a link box - type in the whole url of the site you wanna link to (or copy and paste). Select OK. Done..it's highlighted in your text and is a live link. Easy.
As for your metal collection - good grief...I KNEW it would feature Angels...I think it's time you used some, huh? Easy for me to say!!

Mummylade said...

wow, it's a regular treasure chest!!

Darcy Marshall said...

wow what an amazing treasur chest! why is it that other people's boxes are far more interesting than our own lol

Thanks for popping by and leaving comments, let me know if you have a go at the cheesecake, it really was very yummy. My OH said it wasn't limey enough though...not sure how to rectify that, i think limes just aren't that strong a flavour. Maybe adding lemon aswell would zing it up.

Kay said...

Thanks for the rummage through your metal bits, lots of fabby things there and some really unusual stuff! Thanks for the chocolate, much appreciated.

Missed you last week , so hi from me. Love your box of bits.

Oood I'm so jealous. I never have many embellish ments - too expensive and I just don't know how to use them. I'm quit a 'clean lines' scrapper and I can never get that gorgeous 'randomly scattered'look right that so people manage.
Have you got any Crunchies left?

Susie Sugar said...

It looks like you have lots of fun stuff going on here Glen! I think your a bit of a collector of all things crafty like me
Can I come and play ?!!
Hugs Susie xx

Hi Glen, welcome to WOYWW it's totally addictive as we women do like to make sure we are not missing out on anything!!! lots of lovely stash there just waiting to be played with. You should be able to put your dumper picture in your sidebar, it adjusts itself!! like the glitter girls, I don't do difficult!! hope that helps if not let me know, Happy Crafting, Sue xx

Sue said...

Hi Glen, on your blog go to layout, then Add a gadget, pick HTML/Java Script once this opens copy and paste the HTML coding for Dumper into box,
hope this is ok, just gone through the motions with mine so it should!!, ooh hope it works, fingers crossed! Sue xx

Hi Glen, I have just had a go myself and put a new piccie on mine and it came out large too, so I compared the html coding with the other one on my blog and got totally confuzzed!!!ha ha, my hubby is a html geek, so when he comes home tonight I will see if he can't crack the code and re-size it for you, Have a Happy day Crafting, Sue xx
