I've used one of the Webster's Pages papers that I bought from Ally Pally a few weeks ago. I really don't like my handwriting (isn't that a common saying?)....and so I believe that I have spoiled what I really wanted to achieve. I tried using a white pen at first but it seemed to get lost on the paper with the white script. In the end I used a green pencil but not happy with that! Then I used a letter stamp and as it wasn't a clear one, it stamped 'wonky'! Tsk. So I'm not happy with the overall result but I do LOVE the paper and the photos....just not my handwriting. Let me know your honest opinion. I think I will buy another sheet and re-do it tbh.
The blackbird came soo close whilst I was digging on my allotment and I got some closeup shots of it. Then I enlarged one of the pics and cut out the silhouette.

Thanks so much for looking.

I think the green looks fine. I don't always love my handwriting either, but who are the layouts for? If they are for future generations just think how valuable an example of your handwriting will be.
:O:O:O That is gorgeous. I love everything about it. The photos are so cool too. :) I may have to try and catch the sparrows this weekend *lol* xx
IMO this is great - really. Was expecting something entirely different after reading your write up. Love Websters, haven't broken into mine yet!

I honestly cannot see what is wrong with the writing, I think the whole page (writing included) looks lovely. I write a lot on my LO's but usually think it looks scruffy, but thats also a part of me. Don't forget we are our own harshest critics :)

I think that's gorgeous! I don't like my handwriting either; but I use it because I only have one sample of my Dad's writing and I'd like to leave a bit more of mine for my kids. So I think using it is definitely the right thing to do :)
I hate my hand writing and so usually use the computer when journalling but I do agree with Sian, that one needs to write in ones own hand some times ...for posterity.
Loved your photos on the last post and all your Boot sale buys were fantastic too.xx
Glen this is gorgeous - that includes your writing. Mine has gotten atrocious lately but that's down to typing everything and not writing so much. Yours is lovely.
I think the LO is lovely Glen. I think your handwriting is perfect. I thnk it's important to handwrite in your albums - it's your signature as well as giving the reader an impression of who the narrator is!
