The bread of life!

I don't like to waste bread just because it's out of date and doesn't have any penicillin growth on it! I prefer to eat wholemeal bread. Making a bread pudding seems to transform a stale loaf into a different one by adding fruit and spices, so I decided to make one the other day.
It tasted good. I also added a little butter, 1 egg and some soft brown sugar. Now it's healthy, right? I guess it depends on how much I eat in one sitting!! LOL.

Life sure has been busy these past few weeks...well, in fact, I thought it might have slowed down after Christmas/New Year but no chance.

Just before Easter, we went to our youngest daughter's for a week. It was our youngest granddaughter's 3rd birthday, our youngest grandson turned 8 and he got baptised the same day, so even though we were away from the hussle and bussle of home life, it was still busy. Keeley had me helping her pack up 35 party bags for the guests of their joint birthday party! What a fun time. These are some photos I took whilst I was there...
This is Eden - aged 9 - going on 19! A gift of a pair of Hannah Montana socks was gratefully received.
She likes to pose for her 'Papparazi' nanny...
Our Ethan - now 8 years old...oh myyy...he is a charmer.
...and very smart in his new 'birthday suit'!

Then there's Little Miss Ashley...such a cutie. I LOVE this photo of her serious face. She too likes to pose for the camera.

In her princess/fairy outfit.
...exercising her vocals and sharing her talents with one and all...

...and lastly, in her Easter bonnet.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to read my blog.
Toots for now,
